2019: Submission of the solution on video analytics for OTIPB

On July 11, 2019 the CROC company presented the complete solution on video analytics for labor protection and industrial security (OTIPB) on the basis of machine vision and artificial intelligence. The system developed in CROC is capable to distinguish persons, to monitor a situation in the territory of an object, to control observance of the security regulation and regulations of labor protection. Specialists of industrial enterprises can reveal potentially dangerous situations thanks to predictive analytics and use a system for investigation of incidents.

According to the developer, the system of video analytics of CROC in the online mode processes parallel flows of video from surveillance cameras, traces events by the set parameters and allows to display visually a situation on a three-dimensional information model of an object. Using such tool of the enterprise will be able to minimize number of undesirable events, having ensured smooth operation of the equipment and having reduced risks of occupational injuries.

As the developer noted, among the main scenarios there are works of industrial video analytics of CROC — control of existence of the individual protection equipment (IPE). A system "will see" whether are put on on working SIZ according to type of the performed works and will automatically notify responsible services in case of need. The software solution as of July, 2019 is already able to distinguish 20 SIZ types, including helmets, gloves, safety ropes, respirators, dressing gowns, earphones, a kasketka. The video analytics can be integrated with industrial wearable devices. It allows to send notifications not only to the situational centers, but also to transfer commands to workers, for example, to a special bracelet with the requirement to put on a helmet or gloves.

The solution will also help to keep track of location of personnel and to control access to dangerous zones. In case of appearance of the person in a dangerous zone the alarm automatically will join. At the same time the observed zone can be dynamic and move in sight of the camera. Such tracking of personnel and actions of workers will help to increase performing discipline and labor productivity, claim in CROC.

According to the statement of the developer, video analyst of CROC it can be applied to monitoring of production areas and infrastructure. With its help it is possible to define break of the pipeline, smoke, naked flame, to elicit the facts of intersection of perimeter, violation of integrity of barriers, a bringing of objects for perimeter, to detect the left objects. Any incidents are fixed in the form of a freeze frame or a fragment of video. Further these data can be used for the analysis of emergency situations.

For July, 2019 the complete solution on video analytics of CROC in the pilot mode is used by several industrial enterprises. In particular, in the large energy company — for recognition of violations during the works be on the ball, and on chemical plant — for identification of the facts of absence of SIZ.

The industrial video analytics of CROC can separately be delivered and be built in an IT landscape of the enterprise or be used in the form of the module to the integration platform of CROC "Digital worker" which collects data from different information systems including arriving from industrial IoT-devices — smart helmets, bracelets, points.

As noted in CROC, a system works on all popular operating systems (Windows, iOS, Android), is integrated with any video surveillance systems and security. The intuitive interface and the module of administration do not require additional training of employees for work with a system. Access to video analytics of CROC can be provided both by embedding in infrastructure of the enterprise, and in the form of service from a cloud of CROC.
