DR 100s (digital X-ray scanner)

2019: Announcement

At the beginning of December, 2019 Agfa HealthCare provided the new system of digital roentgenography of DR 100s at the RSNA 2019 conference to Chicago. A system provides high quality and fast print preview of images and also a broad spectrum of application, including inspection of a breast, abdominal cavity and bone tissues, thereby increasing performance.

The compact DR 100s system with the drive from the engine has width of 58 cm and is supplied with folding telescopic resistant FreeView which facilitates maneuvering. The functionality and system performance are maintained by ergonomic arrangement of a plug fork (75 m from a floor), selection of the place for storage of necessities (gloves, disinfectant, etc.), the built-in charger for detectors and also existence of protective locks on detectors and the remote switch.

The tube of a x-ray tube uses the ZeroForce technology facilitating its movement on three axes. the 10-inch display allows to regulate system provision at a bed and also provides to the operator data access of the patient, to oscillator adjustments and print preview of images.

DR 100s is equipped with the Musica workstation which offers the single interface for image processing on the 22-inch touch display. Given the patient and parameters of influence are automatically added to the digital image and join in information available to viewing. Musica controls image quality and a dose of radiation, ensuring smooth operation and allowing the doctor to focus on the patient. Data encryption (TLS standard) and the antivirus software guarantee protection of assets without workflow violation.^[1]
