2026: Game Exit

At the end of March 2026, the Data Center game from the developer Waseku is released on the Steam platform. This is a simulator in which users are faced with the task of creating a data center (data center) from scratch.

The description of the project says that the process of forming a data center begins with empty rooms. To build a fully functional facility, it is necessary to mount racks, servers and switches, and then lay Ethernet cables to organize a data network.

A game has been released in which you need to build a data center from scratch

Customers turn to data centers with specific capacity requirements to meet their needs. At the same time, to serve each consumer, you need to connect a sufficient number of servers, as well as balance the load between the racks and switches. Each customer's traffic is displayed as colored packet balls rolling along routed cables, showing bottlenecks, idle channels, and the current load.

By successfully processing customer tasks, the player earns money that can be spent on expanding the data center and purchasing more powerful equipment. At the same time, reputation increases, which allows you to attract larger customers with a large budget. The equipment ages as it is used: servers and switches have a certain service life and can break. Therefore, the data center should be designed taking into account possible problems, ensuring redundancy. Failed devices must be replaced with new ones.

The minimum requirements for launching the game are, operating system Windows 10 processor Intel Core i5-4670 (or AMD equivalent), 8 GB of RAM Nvidia , GeForce GTX 960 graphics card (or AMD equivalent with support for DirectX 11 software interface), 2 GB of free space on the drive.[1]
