EOS for SharePoint is an electronic document management system and corporate content managements, it is executed on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform. A system was released in 2008 and received the certificate on official registration in the register of the computer programs.

The structure of the solution can be built according to any structure of the organization and its information resources. All basic components of the solution are available to fast deployment in the form of templates of nodes and lists (i.e. they can be created and configured arbitrarily by the system administrator).

Basic structural solution components of "EOS for SharePoint":

1. Main website of the portal: storage location of the general information resources and also the reference books necessary for convenience of filling of different registration forms (cards) and also for correct system operation.

2. Website document flow / websites of divisions: storage location of the documents, draft documents, instructions and tasks created in the organization in general or in separate structural division.

If the centralized system of document registration is admitted to the organizations, it is reasonable to create one website of document flow intended for creation and document storage, projects, instructions and tasks. Such option more is suitable for the small organizations.

At hostless system of work with documents the separate website for each structural division which provides storage of all content relating to it, including the documents and instructions created within division is in most cases created.

3. Personal websites of users: an individual workplace for storage of personal content of each user (personal and work files, tasks, calendars, contacts, links, etc.).

With respect thereto, all main technical requirements and restrictions shown to a system are defined by the SharePoint platform. Additional restrictions are not imposed.

Basic software:

It is necessary to have the following basic software for work of any server role of MOSS 2007:

Operating system: Windows Server 2003/2008 (with the set service pack not below Service Pack 1); Digit capacity of the version of Windows Server is defined depending on the equipment, the version of SQL and Windows.

DBMS: SQL Server 2005/2008 (Standard or Enterprise Edition).

Auxiliary software:

Except the main software it is necessary to have a number of additional components for work of MOSS 2007:

• Windows.NET Framework 3.5;
• Service ASP.NET;
• Internet Information Services with service WWW.
