History

2025: Handover to the Russian military

The Russian military has received innovative technology to collect captured enemy drones using those drones equipped with a bionic prosthetic arm. The development was created by the research and production center "" and Ushkuynik is ready for implementation in the zone of a special military operation. This was announced by the general director of the center Alexei Chadaev on June 23, 2025.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the technology has already been fully tested at the training ground. The head of the center confirmed the operability of the system and readiness for practical use in combat conditions.

Russian military received a bionic hand to catch enemy drones

The next stage will be testing the bionic arm directly in the war zone. Tests are scheduled for August 2025, which will assess the effectiveness of development in real warring conditions.

The principle of operation of the innovative system is based on the use of a Russian drone as a carrier of a bionic prosthesis. The three-toed grip is lowered above the target object using a winch mechanism, captures the enemy drone and lifts it back to the carrier drone.

The production of gripping elements is carried out using modern 3D printing technologies. The use of 3D printers allows you to quickly manufacture the necessary components and adapt them to various types of enemy drones.

The Ushkuynik Research and Production Center specializes in creating advanced technological solutions for defense needs. The development of a bionic hand for drones is a unique engineering solution that has no analogues in world practice.[1]
