Eight Sleep Pod 5 (smart bed)

2025: Product Announcement

In May 2025, the American company Eight Sleep introduced to the global market a new intelligent sleep system Pod 5, capable of automatically preventing user snoring. The innovative bed is already available for purchase in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Switzerland, the UAE and the EU countries at a price of $2,849 (about ₽229 thousand).

The smart bed is equipped with special sensors that detect vibrations that occur during snoring and automatically fix the problem by gently lifting the head of a sleeping person. The system consists of four main components: a hydroelectric blanket, a flexible base compatible with any mattress, a special cover and a central hub to control all functions.

A key feature of the Pod 5 is an intelligent thermal control system that allows you to control the temperature of the case and blanket in the range from 12.7 to 43.3 degrees Celsius. The temperature settings are automatically determined based on the data received from the built-in biometric sensors, which provides optimal sleep conditions for each user.

In addition to snoring control and thermoregulation, the intelligent system constantly monitors important health indicators during sleep, including heart rate and respiration. This allows you to record any deviations from the norm and provide the user with complete information about the quality of his sleep.

The system is based on a patented artificial intelligence algorithm trained on more than 10 million hours of sleep data from various users. Thanks to this, Pod 5 is able to adapt to the individual features of its owner and adjust the settings as needed, providing the most comfortable and healthy sleep.^[1]
