2022: Announcement of the first anti-sniper system on remote control

In mid-October 2022, it became known about the creation in Russia of the world's first anti-sniper system. It was called "Frontier," it was developed by Lobaev Arms. Vladislav Lobaev, a representative of the Lobaev Arms arms enterprise, said that we are not even talking about a rifle, but about robotic weapons with electric shutter and shutter drives.

As the developers explain, the operator of the new system can control all three components included in it at once: call enemy fire on a false target, detect its position and destroy it using a complex designed to destroy the target.

This is our know-how - other enterprises of both the domestic and foreign rifle industries, including the enemy, do not yet have such projects, - said Lobaev.

The Lobaev Arms brand is part of the Integrated Systems Design Bureau (KBIS), which develops and manufactures long-range and high-precision rifles. The products of the enterprise are used by special forces of the FSO, FSB and other law enforcement agencies.

In August 2022, Lobaev announced that Lobaev Arms plans to resume work on the Minirex robot sniper.

Earlier, Lobaev said that the company is developing a sniper rifle for the NATO 308 win caliber, taking into account the needs of a special operation in Ukraine. Prior to that, Lobaev said that foreign customers are showing great interest in Russian long-range rifles manufactured by Lobaev Arms "Sumrak," "Sevastopol" and "Devastator."^[1]
