Solutions for the connected production Honeywell Connected Plant are a set of applications for increase in security, reliability, efficiency and profitability. The industry solutions checked in practice will transform data to valuable information which helps the enterprises to optimize production operations, to predict failures in operation of the equipment and to prevent unplanned idle times. These solutions of Honeywell open access to opportunities for continuous performance improvement, the developer claims.
2018: Start of sales of Honeywell Connected Plant Thermal IQ in EMEA region
On December 20, 2018 the Honeywell corporation announced that the cloud system of remote monitoring Honeywell Connected Plant Thermal IQ intended for tracking of data on thermal processes and management by them is available to customers from the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA region). The system protected from cyber attacks is a part of a solution package of Honeywell for management of indicators of production assets (APM). With their help customers can increase performance of assets and prolong error-free running time of the equipment.
According to the statement of the developer, Thermal IQ there is a solution for remote monitoring of thermal processes in industrial and commercial sectors. The technology allows to execute safe data transmission about operation of the gas burner equipment in a cloud, providing data access of thermal processes in real time from any intelligent device. Using Thermal IQ maintenance engineers and heads of industrial facilities can manage more effectively the thermal equipment and control its status, reducing unplanned idle times and increasing error-free running time.
"The gas burner equipment is one of the major technologies which can significantly affect error-free running time of the plant and also the general safety of production. Thermal IQ helps operators to gain a better understanding how this equipment works and to make decisions which lead to increase in efficiency of use of the equipment. It also is key result of implementation of the concept of the connected production Honeywell Connected Plant". Steve Kenny, the CEO of division of the thermal systems of Honeywell in EMEA region |
