2024: Compliance with all SOAR class requirements
Innostage has improved the Innostage SOAR (formerly Innostage IRP) cyber attack prevention and counteraction system. The product changed its name due to large-scale changes: its functionality went beyond IRP class solutions and now meets all the requirements of the SOAR class. The developer announced this on April 24, 2024.
The product name Innostage SOAR highlights the level of maturity that the company has achieved as a result of the development of the solution in several important areas: manufacturability, efficiency and convenience for users. Innostage has carried out a large-scale update of the functionality for detecting and managing incidents, IT assets and vulnerabilities. The platform received additional capabilities, and was renamed. Now Innostage SOAR will help customers defend themselves even more effectively, because the number of attacks on Russian government agencies and enterprises of almost all segments and industries continues to grow, "said Evgeny Fedorov, head of the Innostage product area. |
Innostage SOAR can be used not only to protect the information infrastructure of the organization, but also technological, for example, APCS. The product has been updated to meet the needs and objectives of the company's customers and partners, the concept of secure development, market trends and the peculiarities of the cyber threat landscape.
Now the solution allows you to automate key information security incident management processes, including monitoring and response, at an even higher level.
One of the important product updates is the platform kernel update. In addition, Innostage SOAR can now be integrated with the Innostage Attack Surface Management (ASM). So Innostage SOAR gets access to ASM survey data about the presence of new incidents and allows you to register events detected by ASM for further processing.
In addition, it was possible to integrate with Innostage Threat Intelligence, a system for conducting cyber intelligence and assessing the effectiveness of protecting IT infrastructure. This allows Innostage SOAR to process the results of the compromise indicator check.
Other updates to Innostage SOAR include changes to its functional modules related to information security incident management, vulnerabilities, SLA compliance.
In addition, modules for modeling information security threats and categorizing critical information infrastructure (CII) objects were updated.
The updated information security threat modeling component allows you to identify threats that are relevant to security objects, as well as related vulnerabilities, tactics and techniques that attackers can use. The results of its analysis can be used to more accurately build an information security system.
The updated module for categorizing CII objects allows you to plan this process, it is more convenient to work with data sheets for objects and better calculate economic indicators.
