This device provides minimum invasive treatment by means of radio-frequency ablation. According to the press release, this first device for radio-frequency ablation developed by Abbott and which got approval of regulatory bodies in the USA and Europe.

Doctor Jason Pope from the center of recovery Evolve in Santa-Rose (California) noted that Abbott IonicRF has several "promising aspects", for example, can help doctors at fight against pains with several certain areas of a body.
