2020: DGU KOHLER-SDMO R50C5

On July 13, 2020 the KOHLER-SDMO company provided rent diesel generating the KOHLER-SDMO R50C5 installation. In Europe where the ecology became an unconditional trend, rent DGU KOHLER-SDMO are demanded for construction and organization of events.

According to the producer, DGU R50C5 is equipped with the KOHLER KDI2504TCR-EU5 engine, built in a casing of M3128 and corresponds to the European regulations on emissions of pollutants 2016/1628 EUStageV (the standard works since January 1, 2019 for Great Britain and the European Union countries for the equipment equipped with the internal combustion engine, and which is not the vehicle), thus, ensuring safety and tranquility of personnel of the company tenant and city dwellers during operation. The generator units conforming to the StageV standard make 27 times less emissions of harmful substances in the atmosphere, than the previous generation of such equipment of similar power.

To reach such reduction, in the KOHLER KDI2504TCR-EU5 engine it is combined several technologies protecting human health and the environment:

• The Common Rail fuel supply system with the optimized computer calibration for minimization of emissions;
• EGR valve (recirculation of exit gases): a system controls amount of exhaust gases, partially cooling them via the heat exchanger and then letting in the engine air inlet where they are burned. Decrease in emissions in the environment is so reached;
• DOC (diesel catalyst of oxidation): this system of additional cleaning has porous structure with the metal coating executing a catalyst role. A part of noxious gases turns into water, a carbon dioxide gas and dioxide of nitrogen, thus, reducing the number of emissions;
• DPF (black filter of the diesel engine): the remained particles pass through the DPF filter where they are delayed and burned using heat from the engine and the diesel catalyst of oxidation (DOC);
• If DGU works at small loading (<15%) или при низкой температуре окружающей среды, фильтр DPF не запускается, а работает специально разработанный компанией SDMO балластный нагрузочный модуль, который автоматически создает минимальную нагрузку, для того, чтобы активировать работу сажевого фильтра с определенной периодичностью. Но при этом не требуется дополнительных манипуляций со стороны пользователя ГУ.
• Use in the engine of technologies of active and passive regeneration of exit gases and also in urgent cases forced using the special switch.

Characteristics of DGU KOHLER-SDMO R50C5

The rent KOHLER-SDMO R50C5 generator unit completed with a noise-protective casing of M3128 provides electricity production of 45 kVA in the mode of the main source and 50 kVA in the mode of a reserve source, emphasized in KOHLER-SDMO.

APM403 control panel which is development of SDMO Industries company displays necessary information, including the system of additional cleaning: level of harmful particles, exit gases in the filter, the applied type of regeneration, notifications, etc. and also level of loading of the special ballast load module. Well remote control in the automatic mode that increases convenience of using and monitoring of DGU. The possibility of synchronization of several generator units in the presence of the APM403P controller is optionally also available that allows the rent companies to receive flexibility of use of this equipment, depending on the required volume of electricity production at some point.
