2021: KOHLER-SDMO K12C5, K16C5 и K20C5

On March 26, 2021, KOHLER SDMO announced the environmentally friendly DGP KOHLER-SDMO K12C5, K16C5 and K20C5 KD-Series lines with the Kohler engine.

According to the company, an environmentally friendly approach to electricity generation becomes the leitmotif of the introduction and development of innovative technologies, when human activity is reflected in the climatic changes of the planet. The company's range of Clean Power generators equipped with low-emission engines is being actively replenished. In this direction, there is already equipment with engines that meet the European STAGE IIIA standard (the designation "C3" in the name of the installation). And now, DGU KOHLER-SDMO K12C5, K16C5 and K20C5 models have appeared in this line, complying with the STAGE V standard (designation "C5" in the name of the installation).

All three models are equipped with Kohler engines manufactured in Italy and do not require further cleaning, because their level of contamination depends on the settings of the injection system controlled by the engine control unit. Thus, DGP KOHLER-SDMO K12C5, K16C5 and K20C5 comply with European standard 2016/1628 EU STAGE V for emissions of harmful substances into the environment. Also, due to compliance with the above standard, installations in Europe can serve for mobile applications.

The Clean Power Direction Generator Units are built into the innovative Model M126 housing and have a set of special options, such as a panel with sockets and the ability to move on a special trailer. Such DGUs are suitable for construction companies, city service organizations, police and rescue services, as well as any other areas where a mobile generator plant is required for use as a stationary backup source of electricity, as well as production facilities requiring low levels of harmful emissions.

From the capabilities of the DGP KOHLER-SDMO K12C5, K16C5 and K20C5, in addition to the optimized level of gas exhaust, low noise levels, economy due to very moderate fuel consumption, as well as compactness and ergonomics can also be distinguished.

DGU KOHLER-SDMO KD-Series lines equipped with the John Deere engine, J66C3, J110C3 and J165C3 models, also included in the Clean Power direction, can be installed on a mobile chassis until mid-2021.

2020: KOHLER-SDMO DGP KD4000 and KD4500

On December 30, 2020, KOHLER SDMO introduced the KD Series diesel generator units of the KOHLER-SDMO DGU KD4000 and KD4500 brand, which are powered by the KOHLER KD103V20 diesel engine.

According to the company, this line optimizes the capabilities of backup generators and highlights a wide range of KOHLER-SDMO among such products. Developed generator units of the KD series with a capacity of up to 4500 kVA include the K175 process diesel engine - model KD 103 l, 20 cylinders. From a design point of view, KOHLER kept many engine components the same as its predecessors from the KD series, including, in particular, the control system, fuel system and cooling system.

The modular design of the KD103V20-powered generators is slightly larger than that of the V16 and V12, providing adequate specific power and performance.

Cooling systems designed to operate at high ambient temperatures maintain performance under extreme conditions. The engine is equipped with a fuel pressure system - a point fuel injection system that provides a pressure of up to 2200 bar. Options for displaying fuel levels for optimal consumption when used in regions where emissions are not regulated, optimizing emissions for use in Europe, the USA, Canada, etc., optimizing nitrogen oxide emissions for use in critical areas, such as data centers, all allow the use of generators around the world. To reduce noise and vibration, the engines are equipped with a closed crankcase ventilation system, a rigid structure, a crankcase and an engine frame.

Generator units are equipped with the APM802 control panel, which connects the entire system together, providing uninterrupted service to consumers. The APM802 provides proper performance and monitoring functions on a large 12 "color touchscreen, such as voltage control (+/- 0.25%), increased system input and output monitoring, and the ability to connect up to 32 generators in parallel.

Combined with KOHLER-SDMO's global sales and support network, the KD Series product line delivers performance for mission-critical and industrial applications. For data centers, medical institutions, water companies and critical facilities, such as airports, DGUs of the KD Series line can be used.

2019: KOHLER-SDMO KD4500 diesel generator unit of the KD Series line
