At the end of October 2021, Lucid Motors announced an event called Dream Delivery on October 30, 2021, in which the first customers who booked the car will be able to pick up their Lucid Air Dream Edition electric vehicles. The company has been working on the creation of these electric vehicles for more than ten years.

As part of the Dream Delivery event, customers will be able to ride their new cars in the Lucid Motors rally, and then take them home. Company executives will also take part in individual cars. A spokesman reported that the route includes some of the best roads in the Bay Area, and the company expects customers to be on the way for about two hours. The venue was not disclosed, but a representative confirmed that it would be in Northern California.

American Lucid begins selling electric vehicles

The first owners of Lucid Motors will be those who booked tickets for the inaugural version of Dream Edition in the Range or Performance configuration at a price of $169 thousand. Both cars are twin-engine, all-wheel drive models equipped with a 118.0 kVt⋅ch battery. The maximum speed of cars is 270 km. per hour. The stated stock of the course of the 1111-strong Performance model makes 725 km for the car with 21-inch wheels or 758 km with 19-inch wheels. As the name implies, the 933-power version of Range offers more kilometers between charges depending on the choice of wheels.

According to representatives of Lucid Motors, Pure models for $77 thousand and Touring for $95 thousand will be available to customers in 2022, and the Gravity SUV will appear only in 2023.
