2020: Creation of antibacterial tooth conditioner
Materials scientists of NITU "MISIS" jointly with specialists of the Moscow dental clinic developed the innovation tooth conditioner on the basis of silver nanoparticles. Medicine is safe for normoflor and is at the same time effective against overwhelming number of pathogenic microorganisms of a dental plaque. Researches in laboratory of the Sechenovsky university showed that the structure can be applied to long-term use, including when installing breket-systems. For May, 2020 as the main antibacterial agent in conditioners of an oral cavity substance hlorgeksidin is used. Antiseptics stomatologists consider this "gold standard" of antikariyesny prevention, especially when installing breket-systems when treatment on average takes 1-1.5 years. In several weeks on teeth there is in large numbers a dental plaque, the structure of microorganisms changes that leads afterwards to inflammation of fabrics of the parodont.
However, despite high antibacterial properties, hlorgeksidin has a number of the essential shortcomings limiting its application: the appearing irritation, violation of taste and presence of bitterness, coloring the surface of teeth, seals and a back of language in yellowy-brown color. Besides, it destroys to an oral cavity normoflor that limits duration of its application up to two weeks whereas most of patients is recommended to apply antiseptics during all term of carrying briquettes.
Scientific NITU "MISIS" under the leadership of the associate professor of physical chemistry Georgy Frolov jointly with specialists of dental clinic of "Rosdent" developed special composition of conditioner on the basis of colloid solution of the nanoparticles of silver of 1-3 nanometers in size stabilized by salts of citric acid (citrate-anion). Earlier the high efficiency of this medicine as means of antikariyesny prevention was already shown. The researches conducted by the graduate student of department of prevention and utility stomatology of the Sechenovsky university Nadezhda Latuta on volunteers confirmed high rates of efficiency of medicine and when processing breket-systems.
We conducted examination of fabrics of the parodont by means of the CPI, RMA indexes and the index of bleeding of a desnevy furrow. The assessment of a hygienic status of an oral cavity was carried out by means of the index of hygiene of Greene and Vermilion OHI-S, - Nadezhda Latuta says. - Sampling from a zubodesnevy furrow using the molecular and genetic method based on polymerase chain reaction was made for identification of representatives of parodonto-pathogenic flora. |
Comparison of the provided conditioner was carried out with a check group and group of the volunteers using solution of a hlorgeksidin. It was observed within 10 weeks. At use of conditioner on the basis of silver nanoparticles indicators of antiseptic efficiency were identical to indicators of a hlorgeksidin. By the CPI index characterizing a periodontium status at epidemiological researches and the pappilyarno-marginal index which is the first basic sign of inflammation of a gum the efficiency of solution exceeds indicators of a hlorgeksidin for 100%. Besides, colloid solution of silver has no negative impact on bifido-and the lactobacilli belonging to normal flora of an oral cavity.
Bezionny colloid solution of silver with mass concentration of 2·10-6% is absolutely not toxic for the person, - the project manager Georgy Frolov explained. - As a result of adhesion of high-energy nanoparticles of silver on the surface of teeth and a breket-system he shows long antibacterial properties concerning pathogenic microflora and reduces inflammation of a gum. All processes are more expressed at cultivation of a concentrate of solution 1:10 a.m. The main features and advantages of this conditioner are: high antibacterial properties when preserving normoflor, non-toxicity, a possibility of unlimited application and comfort of use. |
For May 8, 2020 medicine underwent certification and is already used based on one of the Moscow experimental dental clinics.
