2020: Start of production of rapid tests for COVID-19

On April 7, 2020 the Academpark reported that its resident of Medicobiological Union Group – started production of a rapid test for a coronavirus on the basis of own innovative developments.

He allows to carry out the analysis in 40 minutes and yields result with an accuracy more than 94%. What is especially important in conditions an epidneblagopoluchiya – features of this technology allow to increase performance of diagnostic laboratories by 4 times.

Quickly the available experience and competences which our command collected more than 15 years allowed to create the test for a coronavirus to us. In 2019 we began work which purpose – creation of genetiyesky tests on the basis of our technology platform. The platform is founded on technology of loopback isothermal amplification. The mechanism of work is a kind of a method of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which is used in the majority of test systems in the world. But at the same time it allows to simplify the procedure of preparation of samples and to reduce quantity of analysis stages. Our specialists created enzyme which allows to carry out the analysis in 15-20 minutes, and in the course of carrying out the analysis change of temperatures is not required. As a result the general time of obtaining result is reduced on average by 3-4 times, at the same time "field" test conditions are not an accuracy noise. 2020 delivered us before a serious global challenge, and we directed all resources to a specific virus – COVID-19. For April 7, 2020 the test was registered by Roszdravnadzor, production is started. At reaching design capacity we estimate production volumes at the level of half a million tests a week,

The Russian biotechnology company "Generium" acts as the production partner in release of the provided test system. Deliveries are performed to many regions and to the large systemically important enterprises of Russia, the geography extends almost daily. Also deliveries to the countries of Europe, the USA and Southeast Asia are planned.
