2021: Development of a parachute cargo platform control system

In the SEZ "Technopolice" Moscow "developed a control system for parachute cargo platforms. Technopolice announced this on March 19, 2021.

The system was developed by Laboratory Micropribors. Laboratory tests of the prototype for March 2021 have already been completed, said Gennady Degtev, general director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ.

The device is an autopilot, into which the coordinates of the landing place are loaded in advance. The system independently manages the platform, helping the load to achieve the goal safely and safely. Development can be used not only in the usual landing of cargo, but also in the process of rescue or research operations. With its help, it is possible to accurately deliver goods to inaccessible places, in the territory of natural disasters or to the epicenters of accidents. The device is indispensable everywhere where finding a person is dangerous to life, and landing a large aircraft is impossible, "said Gennady Degtev.

The Russian market uses many imported inertial measuring systems on which it is possible to assemble an autopilot and an automated control system for parachute cargo platforms. However, their use requires significant refinement of the aircraft themselves and their avionics, as well as the adaptation of domestic airfield infrastructure to them.

In Russia, only unguided parachute cargo platforms are produced. Autopilots or intelligent management systems in the civilian market, unfortunately, are absent. Together with the parachute system manufacturer, ParAAvis, we are trying to create a competitive product. It has great potential, since the niche for light and compact control devices for parachute cargo systems of domestic production is free and very promising on the market, "said Alexei Timoshenkov, general director of Microapribors Laboratory.
