Corporate IT services – e-mail, accounting solutions, business applications, databases – require gradual accumulation of computing power. To quickly growing companies there is not enough one server, they have a need to purchase the additional server hardware, to employ IT specialists for their administration, to select premises for the new equipment. For the small companies it is one of extremely expensive methods of problem solving with accumulation of computing powers.
Mikrotsod represents the compact version of DPC developed taking into account business needs of medium-sized companies. The solution includes to the 8th a blade servers, the virtualized storage system and a bank of switches for data networks. Possibilities of the solution extend as required due to acquisition additional a blade servers, placed directly in a blade basket of Mikrotsod.
As a part of Mikrotsod the licensed software for virtualization is delivered. It will allow the customer to unroll independently in virtual environment new IT services.
Self-service portals allow to lower labor costs on support of IT services. Thanks to this system, users will be able to deploy the new services, for example, client virtual machines with business applications.
For administration of infrastructure on a basis Mikrotsod is enough one IT specialist on part-time. It is possible to place Mikrotsod in one mounting rack that will save the company from need regularly to look for the new areas for placement of the server hardware.
"If to compare the cost of service of different infrastructures, there is obvious a benefit of the solution "Mikrotsod". At the same time its cost is on average 8 times lower than the similar system constructed on rek-servers", - Litvinov Igor, the director of the business direction of hardware-software complexes says Microtest.
