2020: Start of B2B-service of payment of patents

On March 16, 2020 the QIWI announced start of a payment service for the Russian companies working with labor migrants.

The present possibility is implemented for the companies working in the field of construction, outstaffing of personnel, the taxi, housing and public utilities, agriculture and in other industries connected with involvement of labor migrants.

The foreign citizens conducting a labor activity in the territory of the Russian Federation are obliged to pay monthly a fixed amount of the PIT in payment for the labor patent. In case of delay of payment of the PIT, the patent is cancelled. The low discipline of payment of the patent by migrants imposes costs for employers on whom the penalty in the amount up to 800,000 rubles is imposed (for Moscow and St. Petersburg to 1 million rubles) for each worker whose patent was cancelled owing to its non-payment, or administrative suspension of operations for a period of 14 up to 90 days.

The QIWI offers the B2B-solution which automates payment process of patents by migrants and reduces the risks of employers connected with penalties for their non-payment.

The service does not require special technology base. It is enough to companies to provide the register with necessary information on workers and to transfer money according to details to QIWI BANK. After that the company receives the payment confirmation of patents certified by bank.
