2021: The announcement of Quantum Operation - a bracelet for measurement of glucose in blood

In the middle of January, 2021 the Japanese company Quantum Operation presented at an exhibition of consumer CES electronics as the company approves, the first-ever bracelet which is continuously measuring glucose level. Monitoring is activated by one contact, and in 20 seconds the owner obtains data on sugar level in blood on the device screen.

Such wearable device eliminates need for painful procedures at which diabetics had to use daily needles for blood draw on the analysis. Quantum is going to sell the equipment to insurers and suppliers of medical services and also intends to start the platform of Big Data for collecting and studying of that information that arrives from patients.

Quantum Operation provided the first-ever bracelet which is continuously measuring glucose level

The company states that its secret is in the patented materials for spectroscopy which are built in the smartwatch and a thong. One of these materials is intended for the radiation of an optimal range, and another is very sensitive to a certain wavelength of the reflected radiation. Besides, the innovation is of particular importance software which effectively takes necessary data, suppressing "noise". The Quantum Operation device has also other potential, including measurement of heart rate and carrying out an electrocardiogram.

Still only available method of precise measurement of level of glucose was invasive.
