2020: Announcement of the RFID solution for hospitals

On May 20, 2020 the RST-Invent company reported that it developed a hardware and software system for control of use of individual protection equipment in infectious departments of hospitals.

According to the company, the organization of RFID control of use of SIZ begins with marking of each element of an antiplague suit RFID tags, equipment of strategically important nodes of hospital the RFID equipment and integration of the special software into an information system of hospital. The hardware-software RFID complex provides automatic accounting of SIZ, control of completeness in any point of hospital and also identifies the identity of the health worker.

It is visually impossible to identify the employee equipped in a protivochumny suit. But using the self-adhesive RFID badge printed on the RFID printer it is possible not only to read information on the medical employee, but also to monitor his movement. The route is fixed in the IC of hospital in the online-mode and displays time of stay of the medic in infectious department.

Using a hardware and software system specialists of RST-Invent develop an automated system of access control of medical personnel in infectious department. So, on an input the RFID antenna which identifies the employee is installed and checks completeness of his antiplague suit. If all conditions are complied, a system grants permission for an input.

If violation of completeness, or lack of a badge is revealed – the employee will not be able to get to department before mismatch elimination.

One of opportunities of implementation of a hardware and software system of RST-Invent – control of observance of regulations of working time of employees medical institutions. Often, the fact of overtime work is not fixed and, respectively, the regulations and payments set to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation are broken. In case of detection of similar violations a RFID system informs supervisory authorities on the fact of non-compliance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Thus, a system will provide to 100% observance of conditions and regulations of work of medical employees and also performance of the Decree of Russian President No. 313 of May 6, 2020 "About providing additional insurance guarantees to separate categories of health workers".
