2022: Launch into mass production

Holding "Roselectronics" State Corporation Rostec has launched mass production of explosion-proof LED lamps. The devices are designed for use at industrial facilities, where the formation of explosive gas mixtures is possible. By placing the power supply and LED module on the same PCB, the cost of these luminaires is 30% lower than its counterparts. Roselectronics announced this on June 3, 2022.

The design of these LED S-B-Ex series devices, designed and manufactured Tomsk NIIPP (part of Roselectronics), allows you to install devices directly in explosive areas. Explosion protection of devices is achieved by sealing the housing with a compound. In addition, the devices do not create electromagnetic interference.

Luminaires differ from products on the market of the same class with a long service life, which is achieved through the use of a special power supply circuit without electrolytic capacitors.

The presented line of LED lamps is designed to illuminate oil and gas processing enterprises, oil loading terminals, fuel and lubricants warehouses, chemical and petrochemical plants, as well as filling stations. The company's competence in the field of LED technology allowed us to quickly master the production of more complex explosion-proof devices. As of June 2022, the products have already received pre-orders from enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, - said Evgeny Monastyrev, General Director of NIIPP.

The SLED-B-Ex series luminaires are made of aluminum alloy with high corrosion resistance, and their protective glass is made of stabilized shock-resistant optical polycarbonate. The degree of protection of IP68 devices provides for operation in extreme conditions, up to work under water.
