2020: Announcement of the single-processor industrial computer
On October 22, 2020 the Avtomatika Concern provided the single-processor industrial computer based on Elbrus-8C with passive cooling. It can permanently be used as the industrial server or the workstation or to take place on vehicles where fast processing of large volumes of data is necessary.
As it was explained, the computer is developed for use in places, hardly accessible for maintenance, and work as a part of distributed systems of data processing based on vehicles in the rebased execution. For example, in mobile DPCs or as the onboard digital computer.
Feature of the computer is the lack of the moving parts subject to breakdowns because of wear. So, in it there is no fan, and heat generated by the processor is brought to the device body that ensures silent functioning and minimizes need of service maintenance. There is a connectivity to six monitors. Thus, the computer can be used in the mobile situational centers, dispatching and other applications where large volumes of visual information are displayed.
The industrial computer based on the Elbrus-8C processor allows to create economic computing nodes. The model of Avtomatika concern provides accomplishment of modern tasks in the most difficult conditions and will be necessary in the power and transport industries and also in security agencies. Vladimir Kabanov, the CEO of Avtomatika concern told |
The product of State Corporation Rostec has certificates of conformity to requirements of information security and the power industry. The model is created according to GOST P IEC 62623-2015 and the technical regulation of the Customs union, has marking of the Eurasian compliance (Eurasian Conformity, EAC). The Russian Elbrus microprocessor conforms to requirements of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 17, 2015 N 719 "About confirmation of production of industrial output in the territory of the Russian Federation" and is included in the Unified register of radio-electronic products.
