2025: Optimizing the Personal Data Leak Monitoring Service
Rostelecom, together with Solar Group, has updated the service for checking personal data leaks. Now it includes round-the-clock monitoring and instant notification of subscribers, which allows users to quickly learn about data compromise and respond to security threats. Solar announced this on June 30, 2025.
With the help of the updated service, you can check not only the data associated with the subscriber's personal account, but also up to five phone numbers or email addresses. As soon as the data is in the public domain, the subscriber instantly receives a notification. This minimizes the risks of fraud, financial damage and other negative consequences. In the event of a leak, the subscriber will also receive recommendations from Solar AURA security experts, including the need to change passwords or other actions.
The report that the subscriber receives displays compromised sources, the date of the leak, as well as masked data that has come into public access, so the client can understand what exactly leaked and the criticality of this information. In the near future, additional services for protection when working online will be available to Rostelecom subscribers.
Customer safety is one of Rostelecom's key priorities. The use of the Internet and new technologies opens up new opportunities and creates new risks. Personal data of users can be publicly available even if precautions are taken. Thanks to the updated service and the recommendations of our experts, subscribers will know what to do and how to prevent a repetition of such a situation in the future. Monitoring will be useful for active Internet users, and for those who want to check their loved ones and make sure that their data is under control, and they themselves are safe. We will continue to offer technological solutions that ensure high quality communication and security for our subscribers, - commented Alexey Demyanenko, Director of Products and Tariffs for the mass segment of Rostelecom. |
Data breaches aren't just a problem, it's a real pain for most users. The key task of leak prevention services is to create a culture of awareness and responsibility among users. Our updated leak monitoring service allows subscribers not only to quickly find out about the compromise of their data, but also to take action before attackers can use this information. In an era when data has become new gold, everyone must understand: leaks can occur at any time and from any side. Effective vulnerability tracking and monitoring is not just a necessity, but a vital element of protection. Awareness of what data is under threat allows people to better protect themselves and their assets, "added Igor Sergienko, director of the Solar AURA Solar Group Center for Monitoring External Digital Threats. |
The service is available both for new customers and for existing Rostelecom home Internet users. Subscribers can independently connect it in their personal account. A trial period is available for the service - users can assess the monitoring capabilities by connecting it for 30 days for free.
