According to the results of the period for January-August 2025, the average daily audience (DAU) of the national video hosting RUTUBE amounted to 17 million people, which is 3.2 times higher than the figure for the same period last year - 5.3 million users.

Functionality of donations in the application on Android 30.8

The RUTUBE platform has expanded support for creators. In the updated version of the application for Android 30.8, donations have become available not only during streams, but also directly under the video or on the author's channel. Gazprom-Media Holding (GPMH) announced this on August 14, 2025.

If the author has a wallet connected, he can configure the receipt of donations in the application in the "Channel Setup" - "Donations" section. You can enable the function both on the entire channel and separately under specific rollers. An additional entry point for managing donations in broadcasts has also appeared - now all settings are collected in one place. If the wallet has not yet been issued, the author will be asked to go through the connection procedure in the web version of the Studio, - said Nika Kurasova, director of the RUTUBE product.

Through donations, viewers can send funds to their favorite blogger thanks to the button right under the video, in streams and on the creator channel. Setting up the reception of donations is simple: an adult author needs to confirm his identity through Public services and tie a wallet.
