2019: Start of production of frost-resistant signaling devices of tension for work on the power transmission line at -50 °C

On November 15, 2019 the Ruselectronics holding announced State Corporation Rostec the beginning of production of frost-resistant individual signaling devices of tension for protection of the technical repair personnel working at electric units and high-voltage overhead power transmission lines at a temperature up to-50 degrees.

Devices allow at distance not less than 8 meters from an overhead power transmission line with tension of 6-35 kV and with a frequency of 50 Hz to determine existence of danger of defeat by electric current and to warn the worker using a sound signal. The device fastens on a helmet and has the built-in system of self-checking of operability.

The Luch design office will be engaged in production of individual frost-resistant signaling devices (the Ruselectronics enters into Vega Concern of holding ").

Competitive advantage of the equipment of CB Luch is the possibility of functioning in the two-channel mode: at regularly working electric network and in the conditions of partial or complete short circuit of one of phases of an overhead power transmission line on the earth.

The signaling device can be also used for check by a contactless method of existence of grounding on the working electric equipment and for position fix of the buried electrical wiring.

Equipment manufacturing for security of personnel at service and repair of power supply networks is one of successful examples of diversification of products of the enterprise. We already made and delivered to customers 15 thousand signaling devices. We see need for expansion of technical characteristics of products and we are going to lower the possible minimum temperature of their application to -50 °C that will allow to use the equipment in regions with severe climatic conditions,
noted the CEO of CB Luch Mikhail Shebakpolsky
