In April 2025, Samsung announced the start of sales of the new Premiere 5 projector, capable of displaying images not only on a vertical, but also on a horizontal surface. The device was first demonstrated at CES 2025, and has now become available to retail buyers in South Korea at a price of 1.85 million won (₽104 800).
According to information from the Samsung press service, the key feature of the Premiere 5 is the ability to install on a special stand, which allows you to project an image onto a table or floor. The brightness of the lamp is 560 ISO lumens. The device supports HDR + and Vision Booster technologies, the latter of which automatically adapts color reproduction depending on lighting conditions. The color range of the projector covers 154% of the DCI-P3 space.
To improve image quality, Premiere 5 implements Dynamic Black technology, which provides deeper black, as well as AI Auto Mode for real-time picture optimization using artificial intelligence algorithms. The projector runs on the Tizen operating system.
The projector is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 5 wireless modules, as well as HDMI and USB-C connectors. AirPlay, TV Plus and SmartThings technologies are supported for integration with the smart home ecosystem. The overall dimensions of the device are 136.7 × 200.9 × 139.1 mm.[1]
