2020: Information on start of a system
On February 3, 2020 it became known that in Russia the new system of an emergency communication under the working name Save+ will be started. It is intended for search and rescue and also for informing service of reaction on emergencies. Besides, the technology will work as the warning system, the president of GLONASS non-profit partnership Alexander Gurko reported RBC.

+ will provide to users of the Save system the disturbing button when clicking which the operator of a system will receive a signal and will transfer to service of the emergency reaction, to volunteers or to the medical organizations.
It is supposed that the button can be built in clothes, the watch, charms, to do compatible to smartphones, to set in cars and in courts. The cost of the button will be less than $10, and the annual subscription to service will not exceed $5. The first users of service should appear 2023, and to the 2030th the number of subscribers will grow to 225 million people. By this moment the net discounted income of the project will be $1.8 billion according to the forecast, reported to RBC the source familiar with plans for start of Save+.
Save + will work through the satellite system of Internet of Things Marathon of IoT which start is expected within the FTP Sphere. Integration of the Save system + with the ERA-GLONASS system for ensuring global service is planned.
Project implementation Marathon of IoT will be engaged in JSC Visat-Tel. The main activities of this company are providing services for communication subordinated to the Central Bank of Bankir network and also development of telecommunication projects for Transneft. [1]
