2019: The announcement of the new version with function of the analysis of tumors of mammary glands

At the beginning of February, 2019 the Fujifilm Medical Systems company provided the updated 3D Synapse PACS system, one of special which became function of the analysis of images of mammary glands.

Synapse 3D provides the full range of applications consisting of universal and specialized options for expanded visualization and the analysis of images. In the new version five new applications are added: Breast Analyzer MR, Delayed Enhancement MR, Endoscopic Simulator, Intravoxel Incoherent Motion MR and Prostate Viewer MR. Breast Analyzer MR is intended for the analysis of tumors of a mammary gland and reports generation of BI-RADS. It includes kinetic curve phases of accumulation and washing away of contrast and also executes different measurements, says the company.

Delayed Enhancement MR analyzes viability of a myocardium, measures a zone and volume of the delayed contrasting of a myocardium. The third new application intended for simulation of laparoscopic intervention - Endoscopic Simulator - imitates pumping of air in an abdominal cavity and also placement and positioning of port. It can also automatically segment vessels, skin, bones, a pancreas, a spleen and tumoral fabric.

Intravoxel Incoherent Motion MR provides quantitative data on microcapillary perfusion of fabrics according to results of a diffusion spectral tomography while Prostate Viewer MR analyzes tumors of a prostate gland and generates reports of PI-RADS. The application measures both diameter and volume of a prostate gland, and revealed defeats and also provides tools for comparative observations.

Thanks to these five new additions of Synapse 3D 55 clinical applications include now.[1]
