Trident HD (radiographic system)

2019: Announcement

At the end of April, 2019 the Hologic company began sales of a system for a radiographic research of the samples Trident HD which provides a high image quality and fast check of samples during organ-preserving breast cancer operations and at a stereotaksichesky biopsy of a mammary gland.

Line of the equipment of Trident use a technique with an amorphous selenic electrophotolayer for creation of sharp images with high resolution. The new Trident HD system approved by regulatory bodies of the USA and Europe is also equipped with the detector with big surface area allowing to receive the image of large samples of a mammary gland.

Hologic released X-ray system for researches at cancer therapy of a breast

According to the developer, the Trident HD system will allow to optimize workflows and to reduce runtime of procedures. Trident HD allows to estimate samples directly in the operating room and differs in ergonomic compact design. Earlier received mammographic or biopsiyny pictures can be output to the Trident HD monitor together with new images that allows to accelerate comparison and data analysis. Besides, the intuitive interface with the touch screen and wireless integration provide fast exchange of images and data transmission in the system of archiving and transfer of images (PACS).

In the spring of 2019 the Hologic company considerably expanded the offered tool kit thanks to strategic acquisitions and implementation of the innovation products. In addition to the Trident HD system the Hologic company provided the system of automatic search of damages of a mammary gland with wireless radio frequency identification (RFID) of LOCalizer recently. The company also offers bioabsorbed 3D - a marker of BioZorb which allows to carry out more purposeful radiation therapy. BioZorb is available only in the USA.^[1]
