2020: Emergence of function of disinfection of masks

In the middle of June, 2020 two largest South Korean producers of electronics Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics announced that buyers can disinfect reusable protective face packs, using steam cabinets for clothes.

LG claims that the device for care of Tromm Styler clothes during a cycle of disinfection is capable to destroy more than 99.9% of virus particles which are detected in face packs.

Samsung and LG released steam cabinets with function of disinfection of masks

The company refers to researches of the National university Chonnama which staff checked KF94 masks and cotton masks. The research group found out that the system of steam cabinets of LG can destroy many viruses, including flu A virus, adenovirus, herpes and also a virus of epidemic diarrhea of a pig, related to COVID-19 coronavirus.

LG claims that even after a triple cycle of cleaning of KF94 mask are still capable to perform the function fully. At the same time the company refers to results of tests of the Korean institute of testing and a research of clothes.

The device for care of Air Dresser clothes made by Samsung can be also used for disinfection of masks. The company claims that during disinfection a system destroys 99.9% of microorganisms which are detected in KF94 and N95 masks.

With development of a koronavirusny pandemic of Samsung and LG also began to pay special attention to home appliances and the corresponding functions of cleaning. The LG company advertizes the new dryer STEAM ThinQ which uses TrueSteam technology and is capable to disinfect things, saving the house from microorganisms and allergens. The Samsung company, in turn, stated that its dryer Grande AI provides protection of users against dust, microbes, a remaining balance of water and rust.^[1]
