Unico Smartbrush

In November, 2017 the Italian company Unico provided the intellectual toothbrush capable to clean teeth in only three seconds. Unico Smartbrush is the patented device for care of an oral cavity which is connected to to the smartphone under management operating systems Android and iOS.

As you know, toothbrushing – long and boring occupation. Stomatologists recommend to brush teeth after each meal not less than 3 minutes. So, for life we spend for toothbrushing of the whole 200 days. The toothbrush will help to save this time. Simple arithmetics: according to stomatologists, we should spend for toothbrushing not less than 180 seconds, i.e. not less than 5.62 seconds on each of thirty two teeth or for 1.87 seconds on one of three naked surfaces of each tooth. Intellectual toothbrush, (2017)

The toothbrush represents an easy mouthpiece which is not required to be supported by hands. The ergonomic form of a mouthpiece repeats a shape of a human jaw and allows to cover all open surface of teeth, including intervals between them where leftovers usually accumulate. The device is developed for the delicate toothbrushing which is not injuring gums and tooth enamel. The doser automatically squeezes out optimal amount of toothpaste which gets directly on the surface of teeth. At the same time adaptation makes less noise, than normal electric toothbrushes.^[1]

Developers note that the smart toothbrush is simple in use and can be applied both by adults, and children. The Unico company raises on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter funds for serial production of a product. By the end of November, 2017 the size of a financial support of the project was 650,000 euros. The beginning of sales of the device is planned for January, 2018.
