2019: Announcement of Willow 2.0

At the beginning of January, 2019 the "smart" milk pump of Willow 2.0 which represents upgraded version of the portable silent device released in 2017 was provided. Willow 2.0 is located in a bra and is controlled by means of iPhone. The device does not require special attention from the woman who can start a milk pump and be engaged in another matters while that performs the work.

In Willow 2.0 errors of the previous version are corrected – now easy to configure it, and the transparent body allows to estimate process and to avoid injuries. The feeding women using a milk pump will be able to check its attachment to a nipple now and also to watch a milk flow. Earlier verification of the application was the only way to learn how many milk arrived the device, now it became an optional stage.

Willow 2.0

Besides, the body with a container for milk easily is enshrined in the version of Willow 2.0 on a suction using magnets therefore it is much simpler to use it. However the user who purchased the first version of Willow will not be able to use a container of the updated device. Also for application of Willow 2.0 disposable packets for milk are required that leads to additional expenditure. At the same time packets allow to follow rules of hygiene at use of the device and also to use collected milk at the subsequent feeding of the kid. It is enough to deliver a packet with milk in the refrigerator immediately after completion of work of a suction, and if necessary to pour in a small bottle and to warm up to the necessary temperature.

In 2019 at the CES exhibition one more hi-tech intellectual milk pump from the British company Elvie was also announced. It already received an award of Babylist "Best of Baby Tech". Both a milk pump of Willow 2.0, and Elvie will go on sale in February, 2019, and both will cost $499.[1]
