2020: Installation of tablets in shops

On May 18, 2020 the X5 Retail Group company announced development and deployment of tablets in the shops. This equipment is intended both for personnel of outlets, and for buyers.

Visitors of shops  using the tablet it is possible to check the prices in  shop, to pass poll, to receive the personal offer or to leave a comment. Also on  the screen advertizing is shown and  the operating actions are shown.

X5 Retail Group developed and installs tablets in shops for buyers and sellers

In  30 Perekrestok supermarkets the device will carry out tasks of the wine sommelier:  using the tablet the buyer will be able to select wine, proceeding from  the preferences, to receive the recommendation  and also detailed information on  a product. On  "air" the tablet is capable to direct data on  the goods selected by the buyer for  the electronic price label. The last begins to shine, helping to define where there is the necessary object.

In a case with employees of shops in the tablet the following functionality is implemented: using the photo of the person it is possible to note a zastupleniye on change and the termination of the working day, data will automatically register in the employee's profile.

Also the device provides information service for the staff of Pyaterochka:  access to personal account, to  an educational informational portal and  other services. In  the near future in  the tablet new features will appear. 

The tablet is completed with the 15-inch display, the integrated speaker phones and  the microphone for voice services.

• growth of NPS ("satisfactions of buyers");
• more profound knowledge about  customer needs;
• increase in the retail turnover;
• cost reduction on  employment of linear personnel;
• more accurate accounting of working time
• reduction of number of violations and  errors at a tabelirovaniye.^[1]
