2025: Completion of Business Process Automation

Integrator "First Bit" has completed a project to automate the construction company "Dune-Stroy." As a result, the company was able to reduce material overspend by 20% and speed up the process of agreeing on spending requests by 40%. This "First Bit" reported on April 1, 2025.

The goal of the project was to create a single information base that combined 11 different accounting systems, as well as automation of treasury and warehouse accounting processes. As a result, financial and warehouse operations were supposed to become transparent and traceable, and all related business processes were fast and operational.

With this task, "Dune-Stroy" turned to the Yekaterinburg office "Real Automation" of the integrator of IT solutions "First Bit."

At the stage of preparation for implementation, a comprehensive assessment of the current business processes of Dune-Stroy and the collection of technical requirements were carried out.

The first stage of implementation was the merger of eleven accounting bases of various units, which previously existed separately. This made it possible to ensure uninterrupted accounting, tax and management accounting.

After that, the software products BIT.FINANS (Treasury module) and BIT CONSTRUCTION/Supply and Warehouse were installed on the combined base.

Pilot operation of the accounting system began in November 2023. From this moment, the third stage of the project came - automation of manual processes for filling in details and integration of the functionality of the solutions used with each other, designed to make the management of funds and material orders as effective as possible.

As part of the project, many customer business processes were improved. For example, when you fill out warehouse documents, employees now select only the warehouse, and the item group and organizational unit are selected automatically. The number of virtual warehouses in the system has been reduced and now exactly corresponds to physical warehouses, which also simplified the work of employees, "said Irina Merzlova, project manager of the Real Automation Yekaterinburg office of the First Bit IT integrator.
