MTS ID will help Fix Price customers log in without entering a password

MTS, a digital ecosystem, has integrated the MTS ID service for authorization in the online store and mobile application of the Fix Price low fixed price network. MTS announced this on January 16, 2024. Now subscribers of any mobile operator of the Russian Federation will be able to log in seamlessly or with a one-time code from SMS to place an order. Since connecting the service, more than 9,000 new customers have already used the Fix Price login button.

The MTS ID authentication service reduces the client path to a few clicks. It is enough for subscribers of Russian operators to indicate the phone number, after which the system sends a one-time code for entering, regardless of whether the number belongs to the cellular operator. If the user has previously interacted with MTS ecosystem products and logs on to the Internet using mobile traffic, authorization is seamless - without entering a code. Next, the buyer will immediately be able to proceed to the target action - registration and tracking of the order or activation of the bonus card in his personal account.

Single sign-on (SSO) reduces support workload, accelerates platform access, and improves security. Users no longer need to remember their password or restore their credentials data - it is enough to use a mobile number. This approach speeds up registration and makes the purchase process more convenient, "said Anna Struganik, director of the module development and digital seamless department.
