2025: Implementation of "Garda DBF"
"Gemotest" enhanced the protection of critical data with "Garda DBF." The customer was able to control all calls to corporate databases and quickly respond to abnormal activities. This approach reduces the risk of confidential information leakage and helps to comply with regulatory requirements. Gardaí announced this on October 31, 2025.
The introduction of Garda DBF in Gemotest was an example of how a business can improve the security of working data with and at the same time avoid difficulties in implementing a database protection tool. The use of the product allowed Gemotest specialists to form a more complete understanding of the company's existing databases and obtain measurable indicators for critical resources. The choice of the vendor was influenced by the fact that Garda products are included in the list of recommended domestic software and meet the requirements for system reliability.
| Garda DBF has a user-friendly interface and the product is easy to deploy. An integrated approach is important for us: automatic detection of all databases in the network, their classification, checking for vulnerabilities and configuring monitoring policies. This set of functions allows you to quickly build protection processes and reduce the burden on information security specialists, ‒ commented Torres Raimundo, information security architect at the Gemotest Laboratory. |
Following the results of the pilot stage, the Gemotest Laboratory confirmed that the system meets expectations: the company has approached the stated goals of monitoring work with critical databases.
| We see that with Garda DBF customers receive practical benefits already in the first months of use, ‒ said Dmitry Larin, head of the Garda DBF product. ‒ The system creates the basis for long-term data management. Implementation in Gemotest shows that even large organizations can quickly integrate a solution into their processes and increase confidence in internal IT systems. |
