Since October 2023, the Moscow Region has been monitoring the progress of construction and compliance with safety rules at the construction site. During this time, thanks to the neural network, about 400 incidents were eliminated.

Artificial intelligence can recognize 22 classes of data that are combined in the categories "Technology and People," "Building," "Fires," "Dogs." For example, a neural network can determine the type of equipment, the presence or absence of a helmet on a builder, identify whether there is progress in increasing the number of buildings, etc. During the work, AI helped eliminate about 400 violations at construction sites in the Moscow region, - said the Minister of Public Administration, IT and Communications of the Moscow Region Nadezhda Kurtyanik.

The AI solution is designed to strengthen control over construction sites. The system can independently determine whether the construction speed is falling, whether there are enough workers and special equipment at the construction site. If the AI model detects incidents, it promptly notifies about it. At the same time, the accuracy of determining violations tends to 90%.

The neural network, which is connected to the cameras of the Safe Region system, analyzes the video stream online and detects incidents by the specified parameters. For example, if it does not find workers or equipment at the construction site for 5 days in a row, it records this and automatically generates a task to eliminate incidents. The responsible employee of the department checks the information and confirms or refutes the fact of the violation. After that, the incident must be resolved.

The development of solutions using artificial intelligence technologies is carried out by the IT company MAXIMUM, subordinate to the Moscow Region Ministry of Public Administration, IT and Communications.
