GLONASS JSC will launch traffic monitoring transport on the southern section of the North-South international transport corridor passing through. As Dagestan part of the first stage of the joint project By the Government of the Republic of , more than 20 service points will be opened to ensure online tracking of cargo transportation in the region. The agreement on the development of the navigation and communication infrastructure of the southern section of the North-South international transport corridor was signed between GLONASS JSC and the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Dagestan. The joint work will ensure digital security, efficiency and acceleration of the development of the region's transport system.

Vehicles at the North-South MTK will begin to be equipped with satellite navigation equipment and connected to a monitoring platform based on the ERA-GLONASS state information system. According to him, legally significant data on the movement of vehicles will be transferred to the information systems of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan and to federal executive bodies.

2022: Intelligent Transport Platform Plan

The Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Dagestan, together with GLONASS JSC, will develop a single intelligent transport platform. GLONASS JSC announced this on August 23, 2022. The solution will improve the safety and efficiency of all types of transport by managing logistics flows online, digitally monitoring the transportation of passengers and dangerous goods, communal and special equipment. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by the Minister of Digital Development of Dagestan Yuri Gamzatov and the head of the commercial directorate of GLONASS JSC Leonid Paramonov.

The document involves the launch of experimental programs and the implementation of pilot projects for the introduction of digital technologies in the transport sector of Dagestan in the interests of citizens, state authorities of the Republic and the business community.

Cooperation with GLONASS JSC will contribute to the implementation of innovative projects in the republic, accelerate the digitalization of the region, as well as increase investment attractiveness through the introduction of new technologies, - commented Yuri Gamzatov.
