Instead of the outdated relay devices of 1954, the GK 1520 specialists installed modern microprocessor systems for monitoring rail circuits, microprocessor centralization, dispatching and automatic diagnostics on the ring line.

Rail chains are a means of monitoring the freedom of track sections and the integrity of rail threads, as well as transmitting signal readings from the way to the train. Microprocessor centralization system - an automated process control system that controls the operation of equipment (arrows, traffic lights, etc.), monitors and optimizes train routes, monitors equipment parameters, detects pre-failure states, etc.

GC 1520 explained to TAdviser that modern microprocessor automation for the development and production of its LAT division was introduced. These microprocessor systems make the most of Russian microelectronics, especially in the most critical nodes, the company says.

The new equipment, according to the developers, will reduce the intervals between trains by 10-14%. During rush hour, 36 pairs of trains will be able to pass along the line instead of 34, it will become freer in the cars.

It is also expected that metro personnel will be able to more effectively control arrows and traffic lights, control equipment parameters, draw up routes faster and regulate traffic schedules.
