2025: Piloting the Regular Pricing Methodology

O'Kay, together with IT partner GlowByte, has implemented a comprehensive project to develop and pilot a regular pricing methodology. This approach allowed the retailer to move to a highly efficient system pricing model that takes into account all aspects and business objectives. This was made possible by the development of a price strategy, the introduction of analytical services, automation and standardization of pricing rules. This was announced on June 9, 2025 by representatives of GlowByte.

The project is based on a methodology that takes into account current trends - the strategies of EDLP (Everyday Low Price) and EDPP (Everyday Promo Price). Based on the methodology, Python has implemented analytical services that prepare all the necessary data for price calculation (KVI, store clustering, preparation of market data). Automation of the calculation of regular prices according to the methodology is carried out using the Imprice dynamic pricing system - a specialized boxed solution.

The pilot project geographically covered the branches of the network in St. Petersburg, as of June 2025, the solution is gradually scaled up to the entire network.
