With the increasing number and complexity of cyber attacks, the company's extensive network infrastructure with personal user data is an attractive target for attackers. To protect the corporate network and analyze traffic, Ortix specialists decided to implement Positive Technologies - PT NAD.

After the completion of the pilot project, the integrator specialists presented a report on all identified incidents, including violations of security policies, cases of detection of network attacks and malware. In particular, thanks to PT NAD, the company identified and eliminated the following threats:

• Use prohibited software and dictionary passwords on endpoints to log on to accounts.
• The presence of a vulnerability, the exploitation of which could lead to the hacking of critical systems for business.
• Conducting a flood attack on the company's infrastructure.
• Using a cryptocurrency miner and botnet to send spam.

After the completion of the pilot project, Ortix chose PT NAD as a permanent solution, as the product proved to be effective and met all company requirements. Traffic analysis not only revealed external threats, but also showed violations of information security regulations at endpoints. In the future, Ortix plans to strengthen network security with NGFW class security and integrate it with PT NAD.
