Rodina Hotels Boosts Employee Training With iSpring LMS

RODINA Hotels has implemented the iSpring LMS corporate training platform to develop more than 2,000 employees across Russia. This made it possible to make training centralized and increase the level of training. ISpring Solutions announced this on March 12, 2026.

RODINA Hotels specializes in the professional management of the highest price segment. Prior to the implementation of the LMS platform, employee training took place point-by-point at individual facilities. Only three sites employed training managers, the rest were responsible for the development of personnel by the heads of services. The company could not control the quality of employee training due to the lack of a single database and a centralized approach.

To move to automating all training processes, the company analyzed popular solutions on the market and chose iSpring LMS. The key factors were the ready-made course library, mobile application and flexible reporting system for objects and services, training trajectories for teams, as well as the ability to store an unlimited number of materials in different formats and integration with Zoom for online training.

RODINA Hotels implements several scenarios using iSpring LMS. New employees undergo adaptation with basic service training, including rules for working with guests and communication. Active staff improve their skills through courses, webinars and a library of books. Tests are used to assess the assimilation of materials. The company is testing the automation of the Personnel Reserve project and plans to transfer the employees' IPR from Excel to iSpring LMS. Employees gained access to training at any time, 85% of all training is conducted on the iSpring platform.

The introduction of iSpring LMS allowed the company to systematize training and track its effectiveness. We now see what courses each employee took, when and with what result. This made it possible to manage the process, analyze data and adjust training. In the four years the platform was used, employee training rose from 46% to 73%. Staff involvement has increased thanks to the mobile application and the ability to undergo training at a convenient time, - said Margarita Spiridonova, head of training at RODINA Hotels.

As of March 2026, RODINA Hotels is actively using modern training formats. Short videos for 3-7 minutes allow employees to quickly absorb information. Not only professional skills are developing, but also soft skills - stress resistance, emotional intelligence, team work. Thanks to multifunctional training, staff can master related professions.

In the near future, the company plans to synchronize 1C with the iSpring LMS platform to optimize workflows, as well as continue to create training trajectories for hotel and restaurant employees.
