Sarkor is one of the Internet providers in Uzbekistan. The main area of ​ ​ presence of the company is Tashkent, where the operator provides full coverage and provides broadband, VoIP and IPTV services. Over the years, traffic consumption has grown steadily, but it was during the pandemic that the load increased so sharply that the company for the first time faced an acute shortage of IPv4 addresses and the need to scale the network.

To solve these problems, the software approach of VAS Experts was chosen. The project was based on the implementation of CG-NAT and BRAS based on SCAT software with dual-stack support. This solution made it possible to abandon expensive leases and purchases of additional IPv4 pools, while maintaining network flexibility and ensuring a smooth transition to IPv6. Additionally, traffic prioritization, subscriber channel polishing and transparent integration with internal services and billing were implemented.

Particular attention was paid to regulatory requirements: an optimized approach to transferring large amounts of data for more efficient storage, which complies with local legislation. In addition, the architecture of VAS Experts solutions has improved reliability: the network has been rebuilt according to the backup scheme, which minimizes downtime in case of failures.

Thanks to his work with VAS Experts, Sarkor has prepared the infrastructure for regional expansion and is ready to expand its presence outside Tashkent.
