Sitronics KT delivered the third VR bulldozer simulator for Service-CHETRA

2025: Introduction of CETRA bulldozer VR simulator

The company's specialists have completed the installation of the VR simulator of the CHETRA bulldozer. The simulator with highly realistic simulation technology was developed by Sitronics KT specialists (part of the Sitronics Group) specially commissioned by the enterprise to train drivers and service specialists. Sitronics announced this on February 21, 2025.

The simulator simulates the environment of a real bulldozer cabin and is complemented by a helmet with virtual reality technology, as well as hand motion capture controllers with tactile recoil. The cockpit is equipped with all levers, pedals and instruments installed in the cockpit of CHETRA T-20.02K bulldozer.

The complex allows operators to hone the skills of managing and working with equipment in a safe and controlled environment: to study the basic methods and rules of managing a tracked bulldozer and attachments, to work out the skills of troubleshooting by simulating emergency modes of operation of the bulldozer and failures of equipment associated with a risk to operator health or damage to equipment. And all mistakes made during training or passing the qualification exam are recorded automatically by the system.

This training approach reduces the risks of occupational injury and optimizes training costs.

Training using VR technologies makes it possible to significantly increase the speed of deployment of training facilities, make them more accessible for use and, accordingly, improve the quality of personnel training, ensure safety and at the same time optimize the costs of the enterprise, excluding the use of real equipment, wear and tear, fuel and material costs. This is the third simulator of the VR-version T-20.02K model, which we have developed for one of the domestic manufacturers of industrial and communal equipment, which confirms the effectiveness of the technology in all aspects. It is important that the development of the simulator was implemented with the direct participation of the company's specialists, - said Evgeny Shishenin, Development Director of Sitronics KT.
