2025: Move to Nexign DRA

The solution Nexign DRA made it possible T-Mobile to replace the element CUES () critical information infrastructure responsible for routing and balancing the entire volume of operator Diameter traffic in networks. This 4G creates the basis for stable and reliable operation of operator services in the context of increased consumption data and loads on the network infrastructure. The implementation project was completed in three months. This was announced Nexign on August 26, 2025.

Systems of this class belong to significant objects of CII and require regular updates for correct operation. The previous supplier left the Russian market and stopped supporting the solution, which is why T-Mobile faced increasing risks as the update became obsolete and with a threat to the security of the signal network.

The transition to Nexign DRA allowed T-Mobile to create a foundation for stable, reliable and uninterrupted operation. This is possible due to the flexibility of routing algorithms, as well as competent load distribution. Thanks to the ability to independently configure algorithms and expand the logic of Nexign DRA, the operator will be able to flexibly manage the load on the network. In addition, Nexign DRA operates in DEA (Diameter Edge Agent) mode at the edge of the network, providing secure exchange of signal traffic when interacting with mobile operators (MNO) and roaming partners.

In this project, the operator was one of the first on the market to import a node important for monetization and network stability. Thus, the company has increased the level of reliability and security of its infrastructure.
