2022: Completion of warehouse automation in Samara

On June 22, 2022, the company EME announced that it had completed warehouse automation pharmaceutical the "" networks in April the city in April 2022. Samara

Cooperation between the companies was launched in 2018 with a project to automate a distribution center of 20,000 sq.m. (300 employees) in Krasnodar. The second warehouse complex in Krasnodar is also managed by EME.WMS.

April continues to develop in the regions of Russia, and in April 2022, a warehouse complex in Samara was opened to provide medicines in the Volga region. The area of ​ ​ the warehouse complex amounted to 6000 sq.m., the number of SKUs - 4000 pcs. The warehouse employs about 60 employees. The warehouse pharmaceutical complex needs an automation system.

Taking into account the experience of cooperation with EME, performance indicators of EME.WMS, the management of the warehouse complex decided to replicate the system in this warehouse. During the week, EME specialists, familiar with the specifics of the pharmaceutical warehouse, prepared the system for implementation. And after 3 weeks, EME.WMS started working in stock. Implementation was carried out by April employees on their own.

EME.WMS features:

• EME.WMS is a Russian product from one company, its replication does not require additional licenses. All on the same platform.
• Similar business processes are automatically transferred to other locations.
• Introducing the product to additional objects practically does not require writing code, since the functionality is configured through open settings dialogs.
• Support for visual programming: the dialog editor and the editor of reports and printed forms (labels) are stored directly in the project.

The implementation of the automation system took place simultaneously with the preparation of the warehouse complex for opening. From the first days of operation, warehouse business processes are managed by EME.WMS.

As of June 2022, EME specialists provide technical support to warehouse employees. Cooperation between the companies continues.

2017: EME.WMS Implementation Project

As part of the project development, warehouse processes were optimized. For example, the process of monitoring and packing orders has been simplified. The controller checks the collected goods using a barcode scanner and forms cargo items. It is important that the cargo place can remain in the box in which the storekeepers assembled it in the warehouse, or it can be repackaged in another free box. Therefore, now, by order, it is possible to form more convenient cargo items for transportation.

SKU - 20 thousand, personnel - 200 people, 450 thousand order lines per month 3 (three) separate storage rooms (in one territory), mezzanine, control tables, movement between warehouses across the street. Additional modules of the program are installed - the Expedition module, the KPI module.
