2019: System implementation of preparation of the reporting in the XBRL format

On November 20, 2019 the Homnet company reported that it ATON implemented the system of preparation of the reporting in the XBRL format.

According to the company, on January 7, 2018 became effective the Instruction of the Bank of Russia 4621-U about transition of professional participants of security market to the updated format of submission of the reporting to the Bank of Russia – XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language expanded language of the business reporting). Along with other market participants, before ATON company there was a problem of reduction of the software in compliance with requirements of the regulator.

Within 2 weeks it was necessary to prepare the first packets of the reporting provided within 10 working days after a reporting date in the updated format with settlement quantity of facts 6,000,000. Previously were provided with the staff of ATON company required detailing data in accounting systems and export of data in Excel-files own format.

Setup of data collection from Excel files in the solution XOMHET:XBRL, including synchronization of qualifiers of their accounting systems with qualifiers from Taxonomy, setup of attributes of indicators according to requirements of the regulator (digit capacity, units of measure, etc.) became the fast solution of a task.

In the first day of commercial operation collecting and data validation were performed, the first packets of the reporting which were successfully registered by the regulator are created and ahead of schedule directed.

All forms of the reporting employees create ATON of the system of internal accounting. In the same system reports undergo a number of logical checks of quality of data, including correlation between data in separate reports, correlation between some forms, reconciliations with external sources, etc.

As output forms received files of Excel of two types:

• small part of forms is taken from the tables of visualization placed in accompanying materials to Taxonomy
• part of forms (in particular those which consist of a set of small tables) were created in the form of the uniform aggregated table.

When choosing a form were guided by convenience of its use and did not take standard tables which can be seen, for example, in the Questionnaire editor of XBRL. When the stage of data preparation was completed, there was a question of formation of XBRL. By this moment there were only a few months prior to the beginning of the term of submission of reports.

In ATON formulated requirements imposed to the system of converting of report forms in the XBRL format:

• providing security requirements of preserving of confidentiality of data;
• possibility of processing of forms of the company (but not filling of the standardized forms);
• work with large volumes of data;
• ensuring high-quality validation of outgoing files;
• possibility of storage of the lectured data and further work with data;
• user-friendly functionality of converting of reports in XBRL (including processing of the closed lists, settings of digit capacity and work with units of measurements);
• personal user support during reporting period.

Search and the choice of software supplier took place long. The final choice was performed between three vendors. As a result in ATON stopped on the solution of Homnet Group on the following reasons:

• According to requirements of a security service the software of Homnet Group is established on the server of ATON company.
• Homnet Group was offered by a convenient method of processing of report forms Excel.
• At Homnet Group at one of the few the working solution on validation of outgoing XBRL was implemented.
• The solution of Homnet Group has storage of reporting data with which it is possible to work.
• Homnet Group provides a full personal support.
• Homnet Group uses an individual campaign which allows to solve the non-standard problems arising at the specific customer.

The result of preparation of the first packets of the reporting allowed to scale practice on the subsequent reporting campaigns to satisfy the need for the automated preparation of the reporting for the medium term and deliberately to implement target infrastructure with the automated data collection directly from the accounting systems without use of intermediate files. For November, 2019 interaction both within support, and within development of approaches on implementation of target infrastructure is performed.
