2019: Implementation of KIB SearchInform

The group "Autocomponent" implemented DLP- a system "KIB SearchInform" for data protection from internal threats. On July 25, 2019 the company reported about it SearchInform. The decision on purchase was made after testing of several DLP systems of domestic development: "Garda Techologies" StaffCop, "InfoWatch" and SearchInform.

The company notes that technical characteristics of the program and its analytical opportunities became decisive factors. It is simple to unroll a system on IT infrastructure of the big size, it allows to obtain the comprehensive information for investigation and prevention of incidents, is convenient in work.

We tested systems within a month, turned them on a large number of cars and as much as possible loaded to see how they prove to be on the PC of different power and with different operating systems. Programs showed different result, testing of some DLP systems had to be stopped ahead of schedule since they overloaded servers and jobs of users that slowed down business processes. With DLP "KIB SearchInform" of such problem did not arise, tells Alexey Borisov, the senior specialist on information security of directorate on economy and finance of JSC Avtokomponent Management Company

The company noted the speed of response of vendor to needs of the potential client. On a test stage developers quickly made changes which allowed to optimize data transmission algorithms, having adapted them to applied tasks of Avtokomponent Group.

At the request of certain customers we make changes which expand possibilities of the software. Such strategy allows not only to earn credibility at customers, but also to continuously improve our software. In a case with Avtokomponent Group we optimized data transmission algorithms on channels that was useful and for our other clients, comments Parfentyev Alexey the head of the analytical department of SearchInform

In the choice of a DLP system Avtokomponent Group proceeded from several tasks. Main – confidential information protection from leaks: know-how, diagrams of shipment, pricing conditions, etc. At the first stage the company implemented modules of control of activity of users at the computers. In addition to identification of dangerous or wrong actions of employees, application of KIB SearchInform will allow to see how loading on collective is distributed whether wage fund is effectively spent.

For gain of data protection from leaks, the Avtokomponent group intends to increase an implementation scope of the KIB SearchInform DLP system.
