Navicon completed an implementation project of the Navicon SalesOut system in Bayer

On December 8, 2014 Navicon completed an implementation project of the automation system of data processing of secondary sales of Navicon SalesOut in prescription division of Bayer concern. For the solution of assigned tasks our own boxed solution developed based on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 was used.

The shrink-wrapped software product of Navicon SalesOut developed especially for the pharmaceutical market is implemented within two weeks and allows to reduce significantly costs and to reduce time for consolidation, processing and data scrubbing, the arriving from distributors and pharmacy chains.

Thanks to simple and to the intuitive interface the user easily loads data from reports of distributors and pharmacy chains into uniform Storage where there is reconciliation, deduplication, enrichment and comparison to reference data. One of the main elements of the solution is the possibility of identification of the same client, data on whom arrived from different distributors under different names. Thanks to analysis of the addresses of clients according to the All-Russian qualifier of the addresses (KLADR) a system automatically creates reference base of clients. Specialists of Bayer highly appreciated an opportunity to analyze sales in Russia not only on the city or the area, but also in an endpoint of sales.

Use of means of the MS SQL Server of MDS (Master Data Services) for storage and management of the normative reference information became one more technology feature of the project. In MDS users of a system can independently keep corporate reference books of products, brands, distributors, to carry out a categorization of clients and many other things without involvement of specialists in the field of databases. Use of MDS gave an opportunity of storage of large volumes of information and integration with other corporate systems using handbook data.

"The implemented system allowed to reduce considerably costs and time for consolidation of data on secondary sales and a remaining balance in warehouses. At information processing manually on reduction of the report to a uniform type left about half an hour on one report, today - 5-10 minutes. It is enough to state the logician of data storage in the report and all reports of similar structure will be automatically loaded.
