2020: Implementation of "Electronic clinical pharmacologist"

The Sotsmedika company, the resident Klastera of biomedical technologies of Skolkovo Foundation, began to implement support system of adoption of the medical solutions "Electronic Clinical Pharmacologist" in hospitals of the Sakhalin region. Patients will be able to get advice of the doctor more quickly. The Skolkovo Foundation reported about it on November 17, 2020.

According to the agreement "Electronic Clinical Pharmacologist" (ECP) will appear in the Sakhalin regional clinical hospital, city clinic No. 4 of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the Southern Sakhalin city hospital of F.S. Ankudinov, Korsakoff's central district hospital and Dolinsky central district hospital of N.K. Orlov.

After integration into a medical information system of medical institutions service in the background will begin to monitor medicinal appointments and to issue recommendations in the automated workplace of the doctor.

Use of EKF accelerates work of medical staff, helps to reduce risks of medical errors at purpose of pharmacotherapy, so to avoid complications in clinical practice. Test implementation showed that almost in 90% of cases the EKF system is capable to prevent irrational appointment of the doctor and to increase safety of therapy due to improvement of the forecast of a clinical outcome and quality of maintaining patients. Doctors of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk estimated work and advantages of a system, having confirmed need of a project startup in medical institutions of the region.

She does not distract the doctor and issues clinically reasonable recommendations taking into account the clinical record of the patient and even taking into account the drugs taken by him. It says about increase in efficiency and increase in trust of the patient to the doctor.
